    I am a normal unbiased tv reviwer , not a paid schilling like most who leave reviews due to receiving the item for free by Vine or whatever it's called. Here's a simple take on why I think this is the best budget tv ( under 300 ) I've EVER BOUGHT. Gonna compare to my previous budget tv the 43 inch roku select . Enjoy...1 THE PICTURE QUALITY IS OUTSTANDING , YES I believe it only reaches 275 nits for the 43 inch model and 300 nits for the bigger sizes except the 75 inch which hits 325 - 350 nits. I know that isn’t alot and when rtings comes out with its review it will score low on its HDR brightness score but honestly I absolutely have no big negatives to state about how bright it gets , mainly cuz I use my tv in a dark room most of the time and I am a big gamer / you tube viewer.2 THE AMOUNT OF SETTINGS TO TUNE THE PICTURE QUALITY IS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME FOR A BUDGET TV. I have never had the ability to have a game mode setting which has VRR, ALLM, on a 60hz panel , the response time is amazing under 10ms in game mode ( even in hdr gaming )3 I’m gonna bundle these last 2 together but they are absolutely important to me and I’m sure to many others ans IMO are a main reason why this tv is so great for the price.. REAL JUDDER CUSTOM SETTINGS AND THE 4K UPSCALER ACTUALLY MAKES CRAPPY LOW QUALITY PICTURES SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER! AND LAST OF ALL THE WIDE COLOR GAMUT MAKES THE COLORS POP !OK so I know this is a very limited review I did just receive this tv 24 hours ago but once again the reasons I listed above are what we’re missing from the roku select tv ( the select had no wide color GAMUT, no VRR, a bad or non existent 4k image upscaler, and most importantly no JUDDER settings to remove blur 😢! This hisense is absolutely insane for 250 dollars for the 43 inch or just 50 more for the 50 inch. If your not needing 120 hz hdmi 2.1 becuz u still game on a ps4 pro like me then I promise you as of right now their isn’t a better option for the money.     -Picture quality is good, but I have to deduct a star for the shimmering effect when viewing at an angle
    -Standard Google TV OS makes for a very practical, one remote option with a good UI and lots of available content
    -Audio quality is good, but not great.
    -Easy to set up, including connecting to wifi and accounts

    Overall, this TV is excellent for the price point.

    I purchased this as a 4k monitor for my PC and I split up my screens 4x1k (1080p). I love the bezel-less design and sleekness of the glass frame. The image quality is crystal clear and it has very low latency (as long as you put it in "Game" mode). I purchased this unit almost 2 years ago, it's still running strong, and I use it nearly everyday. It was honestly an amazing buy for the price and features.

    Several labels on and in the box warn that the actual screen should not be touched when lifting the TV out of the box, or when moving it around, because the panel can be cracked easily under direct pressure from a strong grip. This actually applies to most new TVs.
    I carefully held the TV by the thin frame when moving it around. It is very light at 15 pounds, however.
    Feet are about 33 inches apart. Easy to wall mount.

    I use the Hisense 43A6H primarily as a computer monitor, and for occasional TV or movie watching. 43 inches is a great size monitor for people with vision problems.
    Viewed from 4 feet away, I could not see any pixels. The 4K resolution allows text to appear very smooth on the screen.
    The IPS panel allows viewing from wider angles without the picture becoming dimmer - unlike VA panels which become dimmer when viewed from wide angles.

    The remote control has a large flat base, so it can stand vertically on a table. There are no number buttons on the remote control to directly choose a channel. The 123 button on the remote can be used to easily access a TV channel if one does not want to use the microphone - or if one does not want to repeatedly press the channel up/down button.
    I recently discovered TubiTV online, so I appreciate having a dedicated button for it on the remote control.

    The picture is easy to adjust. There are more video calibration controls and audio controls than I expected for a budget 4K television, but the colors seemed accurate out of the box.
    Bluetooth easily pairs the TV with the remote control and wireless headphones.
    There is a low blue light setting in the picture advanced settings menu. This minimizes eye strain when looking at the TV for long periods of time.

    Tech Steve has a good video showing how to use the variable refresh rate feature for video game consoles. The video is at the bottom of the Amazon page for this TV. Thanks, Steve.

    Sound is typical small TV speaker sound, but not screechy. I use a receiver to send audio to speakers next to the TV.
    There is a headphone jack as well as a digital optical audio out jack.

    The tuner picked up more than 100 over the air channels in the SF Bay area, using a flat indoor antenna taped to the window.
    The 1080p and 720p over the air signals looked great. Blu-Ray discs looked stunning.
    Casting from a phone was easy.

    The streaming apps worked fine, using both Wi-Fi and wired ethernet. Extra apps can be downloaded from google through the TV. The first time I turned on the TV, it automatically tried to connect to the internet via Wi-Fi. I prefer the wired ethernet connection for reliability reasons.

    The two USB ports each can support 128 Gigabyte USB memory sticks as well as 8 Terabyte hard drives - as long as they are in either NTSF or FAT32 formats.
    One of the three HDMI 2.0 ports has eARC.

    The Easy Setup guide in the box is actually a 24 page booklet, all in English. A more detailed multi-language e-manual can be viewed on the TV or downloaded onto a computer.

    For privacy reasons, I have not signed up for the built-in Google assistant app yet - and because I wanted to see how the TV performed without the Google or Alexa voice feature. So I have not tried the voice control on the remote control. The TV works fine if the microphone and Google TV features are not used.

    This is the second Hisense TV I own, and it still doesn't disappoint me. The image is clear, it has almost all the functions and slots, and it is very light and can be easily moved. I put it in my room, and the 43-inch screen is just right. Of course, it can't be compared with the high-priced ones, after all, you get what you pay for, but this price-performance ratio is already great.

    I watched video after video of unboxing of this TV on Youtube.com. Without fail each person would remove the large sheet of protective plastic off the screen. My TV came with no such protective plastic. Just a roll of packing tape around the outside edges holding the marketing materials in place. Makes me think it's a return sold to me as new. Not good.

    As far as the TV goes, it's nice. Has a great picture, some great features. The Google TV setup is really invasive as far as privacy is concerned. It asks for Google account sign to setup the TV then will show every channel you are subbed to on Youtube.com. There's more but if you are concerned about privacy you've been warned.

    The good thing is the TV offers two setups, one for Google TV or just basic. Basic will allow no privacy issues and you can use it like most TVs with cable, blueray players, or gaming system or even over the air antenna. You can connect to the internet with either wifi or ethernet connection. I setup as Google TV at first. But the home screen shoves "buy this " in your face over letting you see your favorites apps first. Since I have a Roku player I just set up the TV again as basic and used that.

    Some functions I liked though are the reset button on the back. It allows you to reset to factory settings and the choose Google TV or basic setup. If you're unhappy with your choice, just reset and set up it again. The other thing some were saying the there is a button for Menu at the bottom of the TV and their TV didn't have it. I thought so on my as well. Looked everywhere and there was nothing but a red light plastic thing that does nothing. Well the menu button is actually behind that. Strange place for it and hard to find but it's there is remote batteries go back. Also Hisense TVs do not come with 4k activated. You have change settings in the HDMI settings to advance format. This is under menu on remote not settings. Overall a nice TV but the Google TV is just too much and cluttered. Prefer my Roku which plays well with this TV. I give this 4 stars as I think I was sent a return or used one.
